Your Support Creates Real Change for Birds

Bird populations have declined by 30% since 1970, but together we can reverse that trend.

Minnesota Bird Coalition is taking targeted action on some of the biggest threats facing birds: habitat loss, window collisions, and outdoor cats. With the support of donors, volunteers, and community partners, we've already:

• Made more than 200 square feet of glass bird-safe through education and outreach

• Reached thousands of arborists, foresters, and landscape professionals through continuing education programs that promote bird-friendly practices

• Launched a Lights Out program that helps reduce nighttime hazards for migrating birds by encouraging buildings to turn off unnecessary lighting during peak migration

• Restored native habitat and helped homeowners create healthier spaces for birds and other wildlife

Every donation helps us expand these efforts across Minnesota. Whether we're helping a homeowner make a window bird-safe, teaching professionals how to protect nesting birds, restoring habitat, or advocating for bird-friendly communities, your support turns ideas into action.

Together, we're building a safer future for birds, one project at a time.
